Tomorrow, our community comes together for something truly meaningful, a day dedicated to strengthening our well‑being, sharing our experiences, and imagining a healthier, more connected Southside.
Why This Event Matters
Life on the Southside is full of resilience, creativity, and community pride. We want build upon what is good in the southside and help people express what they want to change. It’s also a chance to learn practical tools for managing stress, connect with neighbors, and help shape future community health efforts. Your voice matters, and this is a space where it will be heard.
What to Expect
This in‑person gathering will blend learning, conversation, and community building. Here’s what participants can look forward to:
A guided stress‑management workshop with strategies you can use right away
A neighborhood listening session where your experiences and ideas help shape future initiatives

This event is made possible through a grant from Northern Arizona University’s Campus‑Community Partnership Support Program, funded by SHERC—an initiative of the Center for Health Equity Research (CHER), supported by the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities of the National Institutes of Health.
