About the event
On November 14th, the African Diaspora Advisory Council (A.D.A.C) and Southside Community Center will be giving a presentation on 6888! An inspiring story you won't want to miss. The 6888, popularly known as the "Six Triple Eight", was an all-minority Women's Army Corps (WAC) unit during World War II, composed of about 855 Black and Hispanic women, working under the motto "No mail, low morale," delivering letters to soldiers on the front lines.
