Did you know that we have partnered with FlagFridges to provide a food-stocked fridge to our Southside neighborhood and the Flagstaff area to combat food insecurity? They offer a sustainable and culturally sensitive food-sharing model. Their fridges work on a “leave what you can, take what you need” principle, ensuring fresh food is accessible to everyone in the community so that no one goes hungry. MARTIN LUTHER KING WEEKEND CELEBRATIONS
Starting off the weekend, Dr. Deb Harris, Nadia Luce, and Ashley and Daniel Davis attended Northern Arizona's 1st Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Gala on Saturday January 20th. The event was a celebration of Dr. King's Legacy and a powerful reminder of the importance of continuing to strive for equality and justice for all. Our next board meeting will be focused on planning and organizing several key community events that bring people together and celebrate our shared values.
